I'M Leighton
I am a former member of the Armed forces where I served six years in the Army and over 18 years in the Royal Air Force. Throughout that time I have always been involved in sport and physical activities. Initially I played semi-professional rugby before moving through various sports such as triathlon, rock climbing, martial arts, CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting.
I started playing rugby in my teens and this carried over into the Army. From there I dabbled in endurance sports and adventurous activities with rock climbing. In pursuit of increasing my physical capabilities for climbing I fell across Tae Kwon Do. With deployments overseas and training with other nations I was introduced to CrossFit and with that Olympic weightlifting. With a thirst to learn and teach others I have obtained my L1 CrossFit certification, CrossFit gymnastics certification, British Weightlifting L3 in coaching WL and a L4 strength and condition certification, as well as certifying as a GMB trainer.

Schedule your free discovery call! This call is for us to see if I'm a good fit to help you. We are meeting to ask questions and find out a bit about each other and I'll be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. If I'm the right person for you, we'll book an in-person or online meeting through Zoom. If not, I can refer you to another trusted professional nearby.

Free Consultation
During your free consultation, we'll review your goals, check your range of motion, provide helpful information, and start creating a personalised plan to achieve your health, fitness, and lifestyle goals.

Assess
During your first 2-4 weeks, we'll work together one-on-one to develop a functional diagnosis, establish success metrics, and create your personalised exercise plan.

Address
During this phase, we'll continue to work closely together to build your confidence and proficiency in four essential areas:
- Performing movements safely, effectively, and efficiently
- Understanding and interpreting exercise programs
- Enhancing lifestyle factors that directly influence achieving your goals
- Grasping the primary principles of the fundamentals of recovery, capacity and exercise

Apply
Once you've attained freedom of movement and no longer require one-on-one sessions, you have the option to continue with personalised sessions or transition to remote coaching. In remote sessions, you'll follow your customised program at your convenience, wherever you prefer. This phase includes monthly mentorship meetings with me to track your progress, cover important educational topics and make adjustments as necessary.

Physical Freedom
Once you've reached your initial goals and mastered the path to success, I believe you've earned the Freedom to chart your next journey. Whether it's maintaining your achievements or preparing to conquer Mount Everest, this phase empowers you to customise programs to suit your needs and reclaim your physical independence.
